LG 42LX6900 Sound NO Picture

Any help appreciated..
Where do I start with this one..
No info anywhere about this model of LG TV.

Sound is perfect, Can change channels, etc, so TV working, Just no picture..

This is the superslim model so all but 4 caps are SMD's ..

Use a flashlight to see if there's a picture. Most likely there will be. Either way, I think you should look at the inverter board.

I have been given an LG 42LX6900 with no sound or picture, person who gave it to me said he could an image with a torch after reading about it online, i cant see anything myself and not sure what input it is set to so not sure about the sound. Powers on ok, all controls work but no image or sound.

Any suggestions.

I know its an old thread but forum wouldnt let me post a new one so thought this might be worth a bump.

Pictures are not in focus, I cannot read the Power supply/LED driver board P/N on the board, or on the barcode sticker, or the pin labels for the connectors, especially the at the LED backlights connectors.
Power supply board assembly P/N EAY60803203???
I would inspect and re-solder the transformer's legs and any devices mounted on the heatsinks.

just an update had one of these recently no picture but sound removed the BGA heatsink gently reheated the BGA and installed some thermal heat paste tv still going good a week later
