    Sony Bravia KDL-40EX400 dead

    Back in April, I was asking for some help in regards of Sony KDL40-EX400 LCD tv with no power up (dead set) by pressing the remote or tv set power button. The power supply board G2HE had only [STBY 3.3V] = 3.31V and and [AC OFF DET] =0V and everything else is 0V.
    In the meantime, I did order and replaced IC6301 (Sony CXA3809M), but no joy , same result. Now at connector CN6101 the voltage are:
    pin 1 [STBY 3.3V] = 3.30V
    pin 2 [AC OFF DET] = 2.80V
    pin 3 [POWER ON] = 3.21V
    pin 10[BL_ERR] = 3.30V , and everything else is 0V.
    According to training manual CTV61 , “dead set” condition is possible due to loss of REG12V , but not explain how to troubleshoot it! So what else should be defective?

      I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on. The indicator flashes red 3 times.
      I do not hear any sound and I cannot see any backlight.
      I have tried disconnecting every cable on each board one at a time to see if anything changes.
      The only change is when I disconnect AC-DET cable on the Power Supply board or on the other end if I unplug the CN7009 connection on the B-Board and try to power on the TV the indicator will stay on solid green until I power off.
      My friend ordered another used power supply board but it is also doing the red indicator flash 3 times...

      Hello,
      i have this sony bravia kdl-43w755c which boot loops. After sony logo, it shows the android animation loading then it restarts…
      from what i read online it looks to be an emmc issue…
      i’m not familiar with this kind of tv repairs… i’m repairing laptops and gpu’s…
      i took out the board and say an samsung 16gb emmc
      i don’t have an exact replacement, but i have a few 32 and 64gb emms’s from laptops…
      i could try to put one instead of the 16gb one, but will it work?
      where do i get the software from?
      any help will be much appreciated!...

      A) TV initially dead
      B) On a hunch of a locked up Google OS, plugged in a USB memory stick with latest FW and plugged it in. It booted into the update screen, completed the update and restarted to Home screen.
      C) Was able to perform a Reset from Settings menu and completed out of box configuration.
      D) Ran a 4K screen saver demo for about 6 hours, then turned it off for the day. Did not notice any stripes, dead zones or other artifacts in the image.
      E) Powered back on and it now runs for a few minutes before relay clicks, screen goes blank, Main Board Red Digital Optical...

      Greetings everyone.
      I also have Sony Bravia, model:
      Sony Bravia KD43XF7596BAEP - Android.

      What happend is that image dissapeared while we were watching tv.

      Diagnostics:
      1. TV turns on, no errors
      2. Backlight turs on, no errors
      3. Power indicator turns on, white color, no errors
      4. Menu works on android, you can hear sound while switching channels
      5. Volume up and down works via TV remote and via buttons
      6. Tunner works, HEVC / MPEG-4 decoder works
      7. I get audio from channels
      8. No picture is present,...
