    LG42PQ3000-update

    I'm still struggling with this one.
    LG42PQ3000. Standby red to blue. Screen channel identification- full screen for a few milliseconds then Ysus and z sus voltages drop. Sound is there but no picture. Same results when I bridge auto gen.

    Ysus- -vy from -175v down to 3v

    z sus 80v down to 50v

    VS, Va and 5v remain.

    When I disconnect supply from y sus to z sus Ysus voltages remain up.

    When I disconnect Y drive Ysus and z sus voltages remain up.

    I thought it could be the Y drive board but I've had 2 boards from different suppliers

    with no difference to the outcome. Does anyone know the best way to check the Y drive board in case I've been sold duff boards?

    I'm loosing my patience with this one so any help or advice please.

      I have an LG plasma that after reading through a bunch of posts and doing some testing I believe has a bad YSUS board. The problem is that that doesn't make sense to me for some of the symptoms. The problem started yesterday. While watching a movie the TV just shut down like I pressed power. I have it hooked to a PC and use RS232 to turn it off and on so I thought maybe something had glitched there. I turned it back on and finished the movie with no problems.       a2442 820-02098 usb-c begin charge only after reboot, until first disconnect

      briefly, one usb-c port, when connect when OS running, or in recovery mode, stays on 5v and 000 amp. If I reboot ( or connect usb-c on shutdown state), it makes 20v andbegins charging, until first disconnect/connect.

      *** on shutdown state, it makes 20v, charging stops after 4-6 seconds in rare case,, sometimes never stops. If not disconnect, it stay on 20v and charges even after OS boot. after disconnect/connect (ON state) it always stays 5v 000 amp

      it is not software issue, it happens only 1 port. other ports including magsafe3 is ok

      Hello guys,

      I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
      I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
      On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
      The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
      The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.

      Picked up another free one. The original owner replaced power board to try and fix them gave up gave to me

      Problem: Red led standby light blinks once every 5 seconds repeatedly for ever.power button does nothing. Nothing turns on.

      PSU, 12v are all 12v to main, 18v are all 16.6 stby is 2.6
      Disconnect main and 12v is 10.5 and 18v become 14.4.
      This is the same for BOTH psus.

      Backlight tester turns on backlights at 105v each strand and work properly.

      I cannot get ANY voltage to backlights on either power supply. They remain...

      Hello, this might be embarassing since I consider it a dumb question but keeps me kinda stuck sometimes in my journey.

      I want to know if there is any post in this forum which explains my questions. A) When, where and how do I know when X voltage line is input or output. Example:


      I'm battling with this IC to understand it's voltages. It's from non-turning-on Lenovo Ideapad 3 15iil05 - NM-D461.

      I see some lines like +5VL / +5VALW / V9B+ / +3VALW being okay and some others like 1.8VALW / +0.6VS / +2.5V_DDR. I just know that some of them are bad or missing,...
