Sony KDL-46ex700 led replacement still same issue

Hi guys I have this tv with this problem, I found it one strip led broken so I decided to change all of them (4) but the problem remains, the tv turn on wit sound led on but after second rebottet and then give me red led blinking (6 times) probably is something in the board broken, i replaced some capacitor that have lower value , take some measurements you're will se on the picture, but I don't have any schematic for this tv. Every reply is accepted! Thank you

its sound the replacement LED didn't match the original.. you need to compare one LED Unit between both.
you can also slide out the wire of BL_Error from the PSU socket and touch it to the chassis.. yours BL will turn on.. but if you increase or decrease the backlight level in setting menu... you will notice that they will Dim ... if this test in place.. then you need to DIY the BL circuit on the PSU ( change R value ) to match the spec of the replacement strips

Hi thanks for your reply, the same problem was also before I change the strip led, so I don't 't think is the new one the problem, although the new led i buy it not from aliexpress( cina) but a different place with a very good review. I can't access on the menu settings because I turn it on and after logo Sony appear tv back to reboot. If there's schematic of the power supply I really helps.. thanks

Man... i wrote to you what need to do... yours LED are Edge LED , the original LED build in protection zener diode in each... the replament in the markt they do with LED doesent have this protection zener diode...
now after the sony logo the BL_error pin on PSU go high so TV turn off... you need slide out the wire of BL_Error from the PSU socket and touch it to the chassis... so yours BL will remain on... this approve that yours replacement not as the original

Of course it's not the original who will buy a led original? No one because it's very expensive. Anyway it's not the first time I've change the strip led, I'll follow your directions and will see. Thanks for now

Hi, when the backlight leds fails often also the mosfet on the end of circuit, it is sometime separated and some others integrated, i think you can find schematics, but not strictly needed, follow the return wire of the leds, you ecounter first the mosfet/power ic.. check the input of the mosfet respect to gnd in diode mode, one way and reverse, if you find open or short then confirmed..

Thanks man, although I just finished to check the mosfet on out side of led and it's okay (test it on out wit peak as you can see on picture, so I checked more two but it's a bit strange the two on metal should be ( SCHOTTKY BARRIER TYPE DIODE ACCORDING TO DATASHEET) BUT TESTER GIVE ME DIFFERENT RESULTS... It's a tester the problem is mean I can't read the shorty o it really read a fault..? On the retro board it's a full of diode and transistor, a schematic really helps 🙄 Thanks again 👍

You don't have clear which mosfet i mean, it's the mosfet for current regulation of the leds , read again my previous post, i explained how to find this mosfet/ ic, if it's a mosfet it is smd type, not much current in it..

Thanks but i tried the only mosfet on the output led and it's was ok according to the test component.. i really don't understand 🤔

This is not a resistor, but an smd fuse.

this what i am talking on different strips type

                          change
                          R6853 (100ohm)
                          C6826 (1uF 10V)
PS6800 (500mA) replace it with Zero Ohm R

Sorry man I had a deeply check the news strip led is exactly as the old one same serial number, I don't know if it's a good original one but it has the same serial number so it's not about different strips . See? Anyway where did you see R6853? I can't find it🤔

the original LED UNIT with 6 pins because there are zener diode bulid in in reverse way of the LED... the replacement just 4 pins normal LED with out any zener

hello everyone I am looking for a solution for my tv, I think corruption of the eemc,

the TV starts, LG logo, then nothing (rear backlight)
no reaction to rear command or infrared

the usb procedure that I tried on the LG site is a procedure with the screen and the remote control so I can't.

I have a chance with a usb procedure or other if you have .bin

if any people have this main board

                                          Sony LG 60la620s EAX64797004 (1.1)

                                          thank you...

PS4 controller left stick potentiometer replacement issue

                                          Hello,

Not sure if this is the correct section, but I have a PS4 controller that I am trying to fix. It developed stick drift on the left stick and the usual simpler methods did not fix the problem.

So I went on eBay and ordered some replacement potentiometers. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174967976757 is where I got them from.

I took the green potentiometers off the replacement sticks and soldered them onto the PCB. Assembled the controller and ran some tests. The drifting was somewhat fixed (not fully in center, but way better than before). However,...

                                          Sony MDR-IF245R transmitter LED replacement
                                          by lti
I'm looking at the transmitter from these wireless headphones because the range is too short. One of the LEDs failed many years ago (nine years ago - I found pictures that I took then) and was simply bypassed to make them work again, but it seems like the range has been degrading since then. They're near-IR LEDs (I can see them dimly lit red, so they aren't the standard 940nm), and I haven't been able to find the actual wavelength. Does anyone here happen to know what replacement LEDs I should use? Maybe I can adjust the transmitter was well while I'm in there, or there's another fault. I should...

Samsung UE48JU7000 screen issue after backlight replacement

                                          Hi all,

Because of two bright spots and a couple of dark spots I decided to replace the backlights in my Samsung UE48JU7000. See attached photos:

I thought all went well, but after full assembly and testing it out it turns out not all is fine. The backlights are completely fine but I have some weird issues on the right half of the screen. Since I didn't really touch the T-CON board (apart from taking out the ribbons of the display and reconnecting them on assembly) it would be weird that the issue is with the T-CON board... But based on the behavior of the service...

Sony Bravia KDL-70W850B T-CON board / software update issue

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue before I give up on this TV.

In short, I replaced the T-CON board due to an error code indicating that was the problem, after which it flashed a green and orange LED meaning software update required. I cannot get the tv to do the required update via USB, so I am stuck.

Here is a rundown of the symptoms and the steps I have taken to troubleshoot:

I inherited the TV with the symptom that it would turn on, then turn off after 5-10 seconds and a red LED flashed 4 or 5 times. Sometimes it would be 4, sometimes...
