Can i use backlights from a diffrent model tv to work mine ?

Hi all , bit of a strange one for yous here lol , ive got a samsung ue49ru7300k , backlights need replaced , however ive got some backlights from another samsung tv , i will post photos of them .. the connectors are the same & everything so im guessing they could work

The 1st photo of 2 x strips is the actual broken backlights , the other 2 photos are the ones im hoping will fir

Pin configuration of the connectors could pose a problem, also those other leds look much bigger than the original ones, so it's possible that there's a difference in the working voltage of the leds themselves, then there's proper alignment of the led strips to the diffuser's.

So in other words be VERY careful in attempting this procedure.

Sure I would. You can also check shopjimmy.com and see if they meet be compatible. But if the connectors fit I would just go for it. Maybe check if one is a three volt and one is a six volt.. but I doubt that's the case
