So I see the TV has Main board (on the left), T-CON board (bottom center), and the power supply/LED driver board on the right.
So where are the two inverter boards you are referring to? The two boards in the post #20 are the two boards you are referring to? I cannot tell what they since picture #3 in post #20 does not show those two boards.

I think he means he unplugged the tcon ribbons to the panel as he's showing the panel driver boards in his pics.

Sorry for not responding sooner but I was traveling all last week. The two boards are narrow and long and are on the bottom of the unit as shown in last picture (but they are covered by a metal plate). The first two pictures are the numbers off these boards.

Does anyone know what the voltages should be on the Power Supply board connector going to the screen/display? I believe this is what powers the LED backlight. Thanks.

Take the DCV readings on each pin of the CNL802 when power switch is activated.

I just happen to fix a UN55EH6000 Samsung LED TV. Unconnected CNM803, the LED light should light up because I used one for my desk-top-light ( The yellow board and screen that's all.)....The power on/off is set by 0v is on and 5v is off

If unplug CNM803 (The longest cable), LED screen still not work( And power supply board is 100% work) .You need to open the screen cautiously , inside should has a long trip of control board, that is the problem.

"The power on/off is set by 0v is on and 5v is off" >2.5V = ON, <1V = OFF The power supply/LED driver board has pull-up resistors for the PS-ON and for the BL-ON tp provide >2.5 VDC for those two signal pins, so when you disconnect the cable between the power supply and the main board if the power supply and the LED drivers are OK ,the backlights will come on.

Good ! I'm learning . This kinda of Samsung LED TV is fun, easy for lamp application. Before we used 42' Samsung CCFL TV , we need put whole PCBs there ,and use remote to turn on the TV(because is touch penal ). Now I still use in my garage........

You know what am I doing now,I just put 110v AC to LG LEDs screen nothing happen ,then I put a full bridge with a 250v 100uf cap ..DC... still not work.... maybe in UK is more power .....next time I will try double the votage and try again.......need to go.... GYM ....now....see you.......

Thanks for the responses. I will measure the voltages on the CNL802 connector tonight and get back to you. Where are the two pull-up resistor test points to measure the PS-ON and BL-ON?

I did unconnect the CNM803 connector a while back after I installed the new BN44-00424A board and no back light turned on.

I did unconnect the CNM803 connector a while back after I installed the new BN44-00424A board and no back light turned on.

Just measured the DCV right at the two legs of the main filter cap CP806, if it has >360VDC then the PS-ON is present.

Okay here are the voltage levels at the CNL802 connector. I will measure cap CP806 tonight and get back to you.

pin 1 = 308V
pin 3 = 187V
pin 5 = 187V
pin 7 = 69.5V
pin 9 = .633V
pin 10 = -2.7mV

Here are the levels with connector CNM803 unplugged:
pin 1 = 320V
pin 3 = 199V
pin 5 = 199V
pin 7 = 81V
pin 9 = .631V
pin 10 = -0.3mV

That much Voltage at pin 1 means that there is no load, so basically it has open circuit in the LED string some where.

Okay thank you. So it looks like in addition to removing the back cover I have to take the display/screen apart. Any tips on doing this for the UN55D6000 and is this hard to do?

Here are the voltage measurements:

CP806 = 398V

PS-ON = 3.39V

BL-ON = 5.08V

The backlight is not on with these voltages. Do you think it is the LED string?
