you wrote at first post you disconnected MB from PSU and LED come on... this what he mean..

you need to use this Program SW and choice yours exact 25Q40CL and write it again with lotas file.. no more or less, also don't forget the status to write after you finish

From STBY take a 1k Ohm resistor and bridge it to PSon and BLon. Then plug the TV in. It's a bit far fetched, but I agree with lotas and Diah the MB can't boot for one reason or other. Just wondered what it does if you force it on, as the MB doesn't send any PSon and BLon to the PSU.

Sorry for the confusion. I used CH314A Programmer v 1.34 by SkyGZ to READ the chip using the BV profile as there was no CL profile available to choose from. I used Lotas' NeoProgrammer to write the fixed file to the chip. The NeoProgrammer has the W25Q40CL profile in it and that's the one i used to write back to the chip. Do you suspect using the software you provided will still make a difference?

well, I got one... and I am looking at it... I am using it as my monitor and not as a smart TV as such.

do it again withe program i give here before,, its easy job that you can do it 100 time

For me 1 blink is bad ram, i suspect, i have a main board with one bad ram chip, same 1 blink

I'm trying to adjust the status as before but the QE radio button under the Status Register #2 is grayed out and uneditable. Everything else is the same ss the previous program. I'm not able to change the status to "42" without this. And i am using the correct chip profile (CL). What to do?

if you have under it the blocked tricked on theb grayed out-

do it as this picture.. and try use first read. if its set correct you will need nothings do or do write what ever

yours problem are at yours PC... plug out yours CH from PC, just run the software... you will be able to choose the spi and edit the SREG
if you cant then you have Jam at yours pc clean temps etc or use another pc

It’s strange, but how did you use it, but you probably don’t know about registers, this program will show everything without a chip, and you install the chip and look.

This is what i have...

You first need to remove the protection, that is, remove all the checkboxes, click on Write, then erase the chip, then write a dump, check the contents and then install the protection (status registers 0x88, 0x42), and also click Write.
