Hi all,

I have a VSX-1021 that dropped the UE22 error on me and is no longer was working. I've then done the following:
1. Tried updating the firmware with a firmware I found online but it hangs at 20% and ultimately shows "Update Error 1". I didn't check prior to attempting the firmware upgrade but the firmware after shows "***" for the DSP numbers. This was before I looked online that pushing an update through with a bad DSP chip could corrupt the firmware.
2. Tried reflowing the original DSP chip (D810K013BZKB4000) but firmware version remains "***"...

Not sure how up to date this is....

any one had Copy of this firmware PKG3.008EUA , its last Firmware and deleted from Sony Server support page. doesn't matter which region , it can be used for several Model .
i did find old Version, but need this one to solve Smart function of this Sony TV which never had in its working life internet confection. the resent Version as in attached Photo

Hello everyone.

I replaced the mainboard on a KDL60w685a, and now it blinks green and yellow. I think i need to update the firmware. But it's not available from Sony website.

Does anyone have the firmware for this TV?

So I bought another main board from eBay and the same thing happened.

I got the firmware file from the Sony website. My model was listed and everything matched.

sony_tvupdate_2011_4027_aaa_auth.zip was the file.

Extracted to a folder: "sony_dtv0FA10A01A0A1_00000301"
with file: 00000301_07e8046a.bin inside.

Loaded it into the root of an otherwise empty USB thumbnail bought from around the same time as the TV. Not too old, not too new.. under 2Gig.

The file reads perfectly. Lots of "disk activity"...
