Samsung 3D Plasma TV

I have a Samsung Plasma 3D
Model PN51E550D1FXZC version TD03
I had it turned off for a while and went to turn it back on and I turn it on and it makes a buzzing/clicking sound , i'm assuming this is the power supply I looked for bulged capacitors but I couldn't see anything, also I read about cracks so I put a flashlight on my tv and looked for caracks and I couldn't see anything.
Anyone know what this could be?
I plug it in power light is on, and then the red power light blinks 5 times and constantly makes a buzzing sound

you probably have a crack in the panel. So inspect the panel carefully for cracks. Unfortunately if it is cracked, it will not be repairable.

Note the crack can be right on the edge of the panel and so not visible unless you look very carefully.

If it's not cracked... Then it's time to look at the TV parts. Can you post a clear picture of them. Do you have a digital multimeter?

Buying used TV's are fine. Just need to keep a mental notebook on what to look for. Plasma's are a fickle beast so much going on and so much that can happen but then they work they are amazing.

Are you sure its cracked?

I've had less problems fixing plasmas than with LCDs. Too many bad panel issues with LCDs; I realise I'm ALWAYS taking a risk now when I cannot see an LCD panel actually working. Who knows what could be bad with it? Tab bonds, source/gate driver failure, water damage, mura, open circuit LED... Plasmas it's fairly rare and usually minor problems like one stuck line... still happens but it's a lot rarer.

yes got a small crack once i removed the plastic frame lg has around it. i can sell the parts or try to find a pannel i only paid 75 for it i wonder how much a screen would be?

Screen replacement is very very spendy and not cost effective. Might as well get a whole new panel to be honest.

Part out the old one to recoup funds.

The Y-buffer is likely bad; unless you test it thoroughly, don't sell it. (Samsung panels tend to kill buffers when cracked.)
