      Re: LG 42PJ550 Click

why are some ebay sellers so incompetent?

wasted 3 days waiting on a part for it to be out of stock, annoying

this will be fine as a alternative yes?

no nand/flash device means it's looking for a usb-stick with the firmware file on it.

I get no usb activity at all when powering up

but what would the file have to be named?

no idea - usually whatever it's named when you get it in the zip file.

if you get no usb activity, is the usb port powered?
if not then maybe your missing some of the switched 5v.

from what I can tell all appear fine just the mainboard is at fault, I can't find any info at all about the message in teraterm looked on lghack and a few others

from what I can tell if the mainboard is at fault the usb port will never get power but I guess i'll find out tomorrow as the mainboard has been sent out today

also looking through lghack and others recovering a bricked board isn't done by usb but from inside the linux system on the board via teraterm
