Check the Vs & Va voltages from the power board. I am not yet sure if the control board is bad or not yet. Need to check a few other things first.

VA nerver go's above about a volt and a half sometimes northing, VS makes it almost to 5v then drops down. All while the relays are clicking.

Unplug the X- and Y-main boards and see if Vs will rise with them out.

VG makes it to about 15V, VS makes it to about 5V then the PS shuts down.

What's next?

With the controller unplugged from the PS but with the X and Y, the VG is a steady 15V the VS very slowly raise's! and slows down around 8 volts. I also hear chimes when plugging in and trying to turn on.

It seems like the power board might be at fault. Can you provide a complete picture of it?

OK, with TV power OFF and UNPLUGGED, test this fuse.
To test use the 2000 ohm range or continuity range of your multimeter, place probes across the fuse and note the fuse's resistance.

Wide open 000 on the 2000 setting.

You mean short?

Show me which connectors you're pulling for isolating X- and Y-main boards so I can be sure...

Yes that fuse is shorted, same way if you touch the leads togother. Those are the wires I have been testing the voltage's from and isolating X and Y boards. Tested again to confirm wide open 0000.

OK, so now unplug the main board connector and leave only your resistors and ground wire in the 6 pin connector going to the control board. Only the power board connected to this connector, leave control board disconnected.

If i unplug the controller, with the 100 Ohm resistor shorted from VS-On to 5.3V the set trys to start when I push the power button. It clicks a few diff ways, waits to start the screen then click offs. No chimes or anything can be heard.

Edit:: With the resistor in the harness from VS-ON to 5.3V and leave it connected to the controller but unplugged from the power supply, the set makes the chime and trys and waits for the screen to come up.

I want you to test as before with the jumpers in the 6 pin, but the main board's larger connector should be removed.

The main board I ausume you mean the input board? If I unplug that from the power board (large black wire harness) with the controller unplugged from the power board as well northing happens. No clicks no life.

Yes! VS-On 100Ohm to 5.3V and PS-On to ground.
