It seems like I always get the odd ones and never just a replace bad caps fix. Anyway a Toshiba 32C110U1 I got in and was told it was totally dead, well I plugged it in and it cam on fine and I left it on for about half an hour and was fine as all controls worked everything. I shut it off and unplugged it then moved it to another table and plugged back in and now this time it was dead no light or anything. I thought ok when it's warm does not work so I took some freeze spray and got everything nice and cold but still have the same results. It has all the correct voltages at the plug on the power board (3V, 5V, 12V, 24v) I took the power board out and checked solder joints under magnification and looked good and I even pulled out all the electrolytic caps and checked with my ESR70 and all is good so thinking main board??? anything I can test???

Re: Toshiba 32C110U1
Thats bizarre, are you getting any sound, like a pop from the speakers when you try to turn it on?
Im working on one of these same sets and its not powering on either but makes sound.
The only other thread on badcaps seems to indicate a high chance of mainboard failure, Im kind of leaning that way myself on this one.

Boy, you are working on two TV at the same time?
So how about the control signals? What do you get at the inverter board connector? Any labels to tell us what the pins are?Never stop learning
