I was told about this video in another thread so I thought I'd highlight it as an example of what NOT to do in the first instance.

The procedure is straight out of the panasonic guide for this series which appears SJ has used for the fault finding process.

Unfortunately if you follow this without checking for shorted Vsus or bad SC then as you will see by comments already you'll end up replacing the A and the P boards and still be wondering why the 14blinks is not solved.

Slow progress, but SJ has now added a note. Still trying to get them to make it better with checking for shorts.

I have one of these horrors at the moment. First thing I did was check for shorts on SN--Of which there were several!

I'm currently waiting for a so-called, repair-kit and some extra IGBT's

better but the best place to get advice is here. at least we'll try to help as opposed to SJ. You should read one comment where they told a guy if he did not know how to use his meter then he had not followed step 1.

This is the risk when you start providing video tutorials, not everyone is going to be able to interpret the results and not every result will be the same when a board fails.
