So, if you are testing it right, ICs #2, #3 and #4 from top on the bottom buffer board are also suspected bad.
I do not think this is correct as if you have Vsc/-Vy with bottom buffer in, there should be no shorts.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

ok so done them again today and vsc and vy up and down so gues there a fault with ysus aswell that blew the buffers any idear how to find whats gone on this ysus and if theres a repair kit for them ? thanks tomComment

there was burnt one so removed that and still got meter beep so removed more still getting beep im testing on middle pin of p216 then geeting beeps on p203Attached FilesComment

Hi, I’m new to the forum and this is my first post, so thank you in advance to having me, I have the fallowing problem, could someone please help
I have this LG 50PC56 which not display image on screen
I have already change Y-SUS and buffers 2 times! But this TV keep burning my buffers boards!
When I do install the new Buffers board I been able to see only the top half part of the screen for about 10 min, and then it blow up again! The IC get very hot and I saw some smoke come out from it, so now I have another set of buffers burn out
My question it is: I disconnect... -
Replaced Zsus beginning of year as most transistors were short stopping tv powering up.
Now screen flashes on off continually and ZSUS ticks. Looking like replacement maybe faulty or could something else cause it to shut down.
If I remove both tabs from ZSUS to screen but keep all other connectors to ZSUS on then TV boots properly but screen very dark without ZSUS output, no ticking from ZSUS. So it only shuts down when under load from screen.
If it is ZSUS then how to fault find, I already looked for shorts. No transistors shorted or caps and its...12-13-2017, 01:18 PM -
All Voltages are OK except ZSUS 15v.
YSUS board disconnected still 15v missing.
ZSUS was replaced: 15v missing.
Any help will be appreciated... -
Got replacement buffer boards but not sure how to remove the ribbons. unfastened tab but their not eager to come out. Any suggestions? Thank You!... -
Hi all,
I am trying to fix my plasma TV which is not powering on due to damaged IGBTs. I have changed two igbts and 2 IC drivers on the zsus and also two igbts on the ysus.
Now everytime I plugged the ZSUS and the YSUS boards to the power board, the two 30f124 IGBT on the ZSUS are damaged and the TV stays in standby mode. When I plug the ZSUS board alone the TV turns ON but I do not see pictures. When I plug the ZSUS board without the two 30f124 IGBTs and the YSUS board, the TV powers on with a picture.
I am lost, should I change the YSUS board? Is the YSUS board damaging...
