help parts identification for sony kd-55XD9305 CEI

    Hello everyone,
as indicated in the title i'm trying to identify the "right parts" to fix my sony 55xd9305.
the issue is already been identified in the motherboard since it seems that the main rom chip deteriorated and the tv can no longer boot (incredible in my opinion but that's it)
I can get full picture while booting from the usb to try "force" a firmware upgrade but the process stops after some minutes with a sony logo and a blank screen (it's on, i can see backlight).

So, i was searching for a replacement Motherboard (the memory chip swap is well beyond my skills and no one around me is offering it at a sensible price point) but even if the motherboard is well identified (1-980-833-11 173612611 Y200B590A) i find different opinions regarding the compatibility of other used motherboards with the same codes.
in particular it seems that the panel model is a foundamental part to be checked to ensure full compatibilty.
from what i've found around the internet it doesn't seem so, but pretty much all the sellers do indicate the compatibilty only with a specific panel moder number.

first of all, which one of the one thousands codes i can see on the back of the panel is the one indicating the "panel model number"?
i can see at least 3 stickers that could somewhat relate to the panel model number (they all report the number "55", so i suppose those are actually related to the panel itself).

moreover, is the panel model number really that important or can this be "solved" with a pairing?

thanks in advance to whoever will take its time to try to help me.

    ciao

Use shopjimmy.com to there put in your model TV and there will be notes as to what board fits what TV, lookup the part number on eBay or wherever you buying and check both on ship jimmy, if all looks good then buy it

hey eazybone, thanks for the tip.
i've browsed shopjimmy and they don't mention anything related to motherboard/panel compatibilty issues other than the need to update the firrmware if you get blank screen after the replacement.
that's more or less what i've found around the internet regarding this topic.

i've found a MB that "looks good" and it also seems to have been taken out from a tv with the same specs on ebay.
the seller also accept returns and it seems very legit from the feedbacks so i think i'll give it a try.

what i'm missing is why a lot of sellers on ebay with the same board insist that the panel must be the same or otherwise it will not work, maybe they don't know the firmware upgrade procedure to pair the components?
      don't know.

      thanks for now

Basically it's them (sometimes) using a blanket statement that may be true for certain tvs but not others. A way to avoid irresponsible posting since they aren't going to research every board they get. So for SOME tvs yes, but for some no. Likely it's just going to work if shopjimmy lists the same numbers
