Picked this tv up off the curb in excellent condition but its in reboot loop. Im not a tech so I dont understand all the technical talk. I have done all the common things like disconnecting the main cable and the lights stay on. Removing lvds cables one at a time produces nothing but the constant reboot loop. I would like to try the jumper thing but can someone show me exactly which two poles to jumper? TIA

by kevin_alleinHi, I have two identical Samsung GU58TU7199, which both had the reboot loop. On that model TCON is integrated into the motherboard and there is only one FPC cable, which goes to a driver board driving half of the panel (left side seen from the rear of the TV) and than another FPC cable connecting left side to the right side.
The first one was easy, once I disconnected the FPC between left and right the TV did start up. I soldered a bridge on the motherboard on the test points as found here in the forum or on Youtube and half of the screen was coming up. I than tried the CK1..8 lines... -
by natizI have a QE50Q60AA that won't stay on - when turning it on, it makes the sound and reboots right after (sound is ok).
Disconnecting the LVDS cable stops the restart loop but no image.
I tried the tape method mentioned in other threads in many variations, but I couldn't get it to properly work (either reboot loop, or no image).
Tested the caps on the left buffer board, no beeps.
What else can be checked?... -

by JJAAMMThis was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -
by NicktronicHey, I have this Samsung TV that originally had a boot loop problem. I've isolated the pins on the ribbon cable to the panel board to stop the looping. I can hear the music on startup and when I move through menus with the remote, but there is no picture. I'm wondering what pins/signals I should look for that enables the Main Board to provide the video? Is it possible the main board is damaged? Anybody have experience wtih this type of issue?
