    Yep, seen that before.

    Well after fiddling with LG,SAMSUNG and PANASONIC I'm yet to see a PANA with a bad plasma Picture unless it was a fair dinkum faulty board. yet to have one with sparkles and after doing that 2006 SD with a dicky LVDS cable even that looks perfect compared to all the aged LG/SAMSUNG.

      Indeed, never had a Panasonic maldischarge because they got the aging drive waveforms right first time... and even new Samsungs have maldischarge issues... my university has a 2010 Samsung 63" monitor with pink discharge due to poorly set Vs.

        thanks tom i did also get this for free so gues i should just sell the boards you think ? or keep for parts ?

          Depends...
          I sold mine to someone who wasn't bothered about the problem. For ordinary TV it didn't seem to be a concern, except when initially cold - it cleared up after around 15 to 20 minutes.

            i could try i gues most people in uk can be funny bout stuff like hdnot working ect would the parts fit any newer models

              Mine worked on HDMI, though. Can't say I'd buy a TV without HDMI these days...
