I have just got a bush tv it clicks 3 times then the green light comes on but. No pic all boards are samsung in it it gets voltage to the power board for a few seconds then goes away

Chassis looks like a Sams 42C450--but MB is different...

PSU looks like a cheaper version than the original Sams one too....

Start with the usual checks--report back.

Tried taking everything out one by one still get the same click

Hi you will find that you have a shorted YSus/XSus or Y buffer but could be all three.this set is same as PS42C450 Samsung just main board not the same, and have a habit of taking at least Y+X Sus boards together as are chained and when replacing them they should be done as a pair, i dont think anyone has had any luck repairing these boards as its hard to find the shorted parts but lots on eBay, plenty on here to read up on though Flocko

How many TVs do you get? This is TCL China plasma TV with Samsung modified panel module. A lighter-weight version of B450/C450 series, different main board and case.

3 clicks isn't necessarily abnormal but a lot of these newer Sammy's shut down when a board is pulled - so check if control board LED is flashing a 5-2 code (5 sec on, 2 sec off). Also see if you briefly get Vs and Va voltage from PSU board.

Va 21v vs 11v also im getting 5 seconds on and 2 off and a lot of tvs at the mo I'm enjoying learning ha ha

Check Vs/Va while it powers up, do they briefly go to ~200V (Vs) and ~55V (Va)?

OK, is that with both X- and Y-main unplugged? Disconnect power, wait for Vs to drop below 30V, then reconnect X-main; see if Vs/Va rise; if not X-main is bad. Repeat test with Y-main and with both boards (each time, waiting for it to decay to 30V, to prevent connector arcing/damage.)

That's with both boards disconnected it only reaches va 21v with the boards connected and vs is 0v

The x main connects through the y main

With x main off I get 206v on vs and 55v va

I would replace the X-main board then. On these sets it could be advisable to swap Y-main too. I had one which did not need that, but I still had part picture. So, I would recommend swapping both.
There may also be a repair kit if you can look around - could be cheaper but inevitably will require some SMD soldering.

Check for any shorts of the IGBT's and diodes on the X-SUS, let us know.....

The orange things are part of the ERC stage. Shame I sold an identical Xmain board a while back from a smashed B450.

Any where I can test on it tom
