Weather here is looking grim, so I filled up the stove and pulled up a chair to a 50" plasma set that I had promised a friend I would take a stab at repairs on. Plugged it in and got no response. Immediately removed the back panel and visually inspected boards looking for obvious (fuses, caps and blown components). Found a bad fuse, replaced it and put the set on the isolated transformer. Brought it up to voltage and the fuse blew. Started running through the related components and found Q110 ( 11N80C3) to be bad on the power supply (Samsung PSPF561A01A rev. DR3 0.8). Replaced it and powered it back up. Still no standby voltage on the pin labeled 5stb. Pictures are posted below of top/bottom of power supply. Looking for either a schematic or helpful advice on what to check next. I have read through most of the threads and did not find what I needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which FET did you replace? Can you highlight it?Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

I would always replace that little surface mount driver IC in the case of FET replacement. Next to that FET. They can often get damaged by such failures.Last edited by tom66; 02-12-2014, 08:23 PM.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Probably the standby controller - you can look up the part # to confirm - offline flyback switcher or similar.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung / Sanyo DP50747 - no standby voltage
200D1 PAKC are inscribed on the IC. When I search Digikey, I get two types of IC's (AC-DC controller and DC-DC controller). PN's = NCP1200D100R2GOSCT-ND and NCV887200D1R2GOSCT-ND. Any idea as to which one might be correct?Comment

This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.
Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today.... -
by x_orange90_xI have no standby indicator light and no light on the optical port. I checked the standby voltage on the two mosfets in the top left and they both read 30mV. I checked the fuse and it has continuity. I also checked the voltage on the two large 450v caps they both read 153v. All of these voltages are the same with and without the main board connected as well as with backlights connected/disconnected.
Nothing looks obvious like a burned ceramic disc cap or bulged electrolytic. No burned resistors, diodes, or anything like that.... -

by SportlineGood day, instead of Q0165R I mistakenly put 24C256 (don't ask me how) and made a short circuit. After I put Q0165R I don't have stand by voltage again. There is no voltage on the cold side. I found the schematic.
I checked a few things but didn't find anything. When I checked the DB802 diode, it showed a short circuit, but when I unsoldered one leg, it looked fine, and I still have a short circuit on its contacts. On the other side of the board, I have DZB801 also shorted, but it is SOT23, so I didn't remove it, do you think it could be connected to it? Could there be some protection... -

Hello,
I have a problem with this TV, the standby voltage is not present. I have checked the components around the IC fsq510's area and they seem to work, also replaced this IC but the problem persists.
These are the voltages in some pins of IC fsq510:
Vcc=18v
D=320v
Vstr=154v
Unfortunately, I couldn't find the schematic
What else could I check?
Is it possible to provide standby voltage from an external source to allow the TV to turn on?
