Looks like someone's been potching in the engineers menu with the white-balance on this one.
--I'm assuming this, as altering the settings has achieved a reasonable result.
It looks like that each source is set with its own WB adjustments. So--Its no problem with the Scart and HDMI as well as Analogue receiver inputs--But sourcing a Digital signal of a grey-scale doesn't seem possible.
(The HDMI was in fact, pretty close, just very slightly greenish on highlights, common to most of the Sams sets Ive seen)
Are there any B/W films being transmitted at the mo?--Course not!
Ive set it up as best I can, and while pretty watchable, in comparison to another set--its fairly obvious that the colour is different--Not 'bad' --just different.....
Anyone got one of these sets willing to take a look in their WB settings and posting them here....?
You would need to have the set on Digital, then switch off with the remote, access the menus by pressing first, 'Info' then 'Menu' then 'Mute' then Power.
A menu will be superimposed on the dig. picture, with grey panels each side with W.B. the second? option down.
Access that with the up/down buttons and enter with the central button.
This will give a menu with various 'calibration' options, and the last in the list W.B.
Access the W.B. and a list of the settings becomes visible--Its the value of each and every one of the 8 or 9 I need.....
Thanks!
