raw one...i don't think so.. as Chinese sell what in black way... but if its indeed raw.. the TV will remain start... in_stop command to send for hard reset could write the temp in TV to the chip ... thought this theory only not tested just because this chip never saw in such conditionComment

Now the ic ps65175 is in my hands and I don't dare to do anything until I know for sure if it's programmed or not, and how do you know? Of course, the easiest way is to try it on the circuit and see if it doesn't explode again but I prefer another way to avoid waiting 3 more weeksComment

to tell the truth --- i am too not very confident, just because the explode happen by yours hand wrong... so how will you solder this one in place correctly..with out damaging the boards.... LOL however hope and wish you have enough soldering skillComment

First, remove this chip and check the resistance where it was low (short) before, first with the panel disconnected, then connect the panel and check again where the short is, if the short appears again when connecting, then the problem is in the panel or in the buffer strips.Comment

Hello all a little update now the IC chip ps65175 is removed and it went as you can see quite well because I have practiced with old board that I have under hand . now comes the difficult part or maybe the easiest because as you see in the pictures the old IC looks like it has had tin balls in the middle how do you think should I go about this IC chip
Any tips are more than welcome.
It looks like Short is gone nowComment

Hi now I'm two steps away from repairing this TV, the first thing is to solder in place this ICIC7703 (TPS65175B) and need some advice before I start with it. As you can see in the pictures it has tin in the middle, lit needs a reballing ? I'm wondering how I should go about filling up those holes with tin? Or just put bak with just tin on the sticks all around? Any advice is welcome.
the other is the loose Ribbon that needs to be back in place but we may have to take this after the ic chip is fixedComment

This IC chip have to be reworked and i think it is best to use soldering's paste to rework it on board rather then using Mounting Solder Ball cause it is quite small area but no i think it is doable . any method will be ok. the problem here is the size of the solder ball or the paste that have to be used ? for this i need your help to guide me . very funny found myself already owner of this new station IRDA SMD & BGA REWORK STATION T-862++ that was in my storage roomComment

Dears, this is my first post here and first try to fix my own laptop Apple MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch Mid 2015.
I have some general electronics troubleshooting experience and still as my hoppy but this is my first laptop trying to fix.
History: my laptop backlight stopped working without any reason.
Symptoms:
I have image on screen using my flashlight.
I have fully working laptop with the help of my external SAMSUNG LED tv via HDMI cable.
Keyboard backlight still working and can be adjusted normally.
Since two days I tried to follow all similar... -
by zaurus81This chinese all in one computer gives an image when connected to an external vga monitor but only the backlight with integrated monitor (no image). Initially I thought it was an edid problem on the eeprom of the screen but then I saw that the monitor works correctly with another identical motherboard (model th410-d4, read by bios). Unfortunately the motherboard is chinese and has no brand or codes on the pcb. The format seems ITX. Nothing can be found online. The official yashi site provides drivers but not the bios. The electrical diagram is obviously unobtainable
The board is equipped...01-16-2025, 03:54 AM -
by ConstantinosHi all
I have a Macbook Pro A2442 with the 820-02098 from a friend which has no picture on the display, however, the backlight works.
He was streaming a football match on a questionable site, then the site crashed, and the problem emerged.
Initially, he sent it to apple, who quoted him £1323.95 to replace the display, lid angle sensor and top case.
Obviously, he decided against this and gave it to me so that I could have a crack at it.
From initial diagnostics, I connected to an external monitor, I first tried with a HP 22W monitor, and I booted into the boot menu... -
by ajgaeHi everyone!
First post on here so do tell me if i'm doing anything wrong. I have a laptop that came in with a broken hinge, but a healthy LCD. We replaced the LCD rear cover and now we do not get an image on the LCD anymore, though we get one via HDMI. There is sadly no schematic or boardview available for this motherboard (Bucks U42 DIS 17817-1) as far as i can tell, but I was able to identify which of the important pins on the LCD eDP connector (30 pin 2 lane) correspond to which pins on the motherboard display connector (which is 40pin, 30 for LCD and 10 for camera/face rec etc)... -
