No, this is your panel number, and this is your motherboard, look for this number - MAIN: 1-894-595-12 (Y210B300C)

I am interesting for origin of this method with weight on top... while watching a lots of video, never seen this technique for bga chip?

Diah I have found a repair service for the main board on eBay. He is charging £89 for this. Do you think this is worthwhile and are you confident that a repaired main board is going to give me a working telly? If I spend this money and Tv still doesn't work I'll be very very sad.

If the board is deformed from heating under a load, then it is unlikely that it can be restored, since the chip will not be able to lie flat on the seat (some bga balls will not come into contact with the board), this must first be discussed with the service...

Ok lotas. So if I message the guy to say I will pay for the repair but if it comes back as not successful can I have a reimbursement??

Explain the entire history of this motherboard (the initial malfunction and what you did with it later), if they agree to repair, discuss everything in advance.

Yep. I've explained that the PSU had all expected voltages and that I've previously attempted a home repair which has resulted in me losing 12v REG & 12v T-con

Ive also told him it was you that told me to take a heat gun to it for 10 minutes! You're name is now very low in TV repair circles 😛

Yes, I should have said that he also recommended baking it in the oven, but you didn't do it!

Is that something you would recommend?

The repair service on eBay does say that it is necessary to send MB and T-con! So it sounds like he may be legitimate? Maybe he has spare Sony Tv to help enable repair? You still think is no point?

The problem is Diah that it is not possible to find replacement board on google search now! Every company has advertised board as not in stock. So I don't think I will be able to find one.

I think tomorrow I will put TV back together and store in the loft. If in the next few months a new MB becomes available then I can start again. But for now this TV is not repairable.

Diah, do you have any idea what will happen to the motherboard if you turn on the oven to maximum (up and down) and keep the motherboard in it for 20 minutes?

No, I am not working with that... and dont know what is doing robot arm (and why) while going heating is applied.
I appreciate any help naturaly, but just not find any reference about method you mentioned to understand principle of that technique.
To me it is not adequate to just hear new information, I always tend to understand indepth about it, maybe I dont ever needed or use it but like to can say to know it for sure, not only to have hear from where, NHF. Anyway I am not sure what is concerned like problem and how to achieve to fix it with this method?

I am interesting to learn any new technique to me, so that is why I am stuck here... I found your information unknown to me, and cant logicaly explain myself whats can be results else of very squised balls who may touch itself?
