Re: Logik LOG32lw782
pl801 both red wires read about 0.60/0.70 ohms the two black ones 00.0 on yellow block with set turned off.
pl802 all red wires read wire 1.03 and rising all black ones on this block 0.00, slightly orange wire 1.24, blue wire 3.41.Last edited by joehezzer; 01-18-2014, 08:38 AM.Comment

Re: Logik LOG32lw782
so are you testing with the connector disconnected and touching the red probe meter pin on to the psu pin direct and still getting that reading i have a 17pw15-9 psu sat in front of me as we spaek same connections on mine as yours and i get no reading on those pins at all.Last edited by vinceroger69; 01-18-2014, 09:48 AM.Comment

Re: Logik LOG32lw782
i have just done the same test 1 reading on 200 ohms my board is 100% good as i have just recapped it and put it back in the set and it works fine.
did you say you have 2 power boards i wonder what the other one reads?Comment

Re: Logik LOG32lw782
lets see what multimeter or tom etc says regarding your readings but the board does look faulty imo.Comment

Re: Logik LOG32lw782
yes 200.
you have a short on that rail, you need to trace back ,and test those components, that is quire nearly a dead short there, there could be a diode along the way, mosfet ,you need to check themfixed so far...376 lg lcd tv's,24 onn tv;s,24 panasonic lcd,16 jvc lcd,12 marshall jcm800 amps, refurb of various disco equipment lighting, old style disco decks ,and a flymo!

by sam_sam_samAbout a month ago we had a transformer jumper wire that burned in two different places between two transformers caused over $200 thousand dollars worth of damage to VFD drives at least 10 of them and a memory card and quite a few power supply as well
Now we have most of the equipment that got damaged back up and running except a feeder that has issues and we are waiting for some parts for
Now we also have another piece of equipment that was blowing fuses on the 110 volt controller switch circuit with the āEā stops and one switching power (24 volt) supply and a transformer... -
by acedogblastHello I have a Marantz sr5012 that I have been repairing. After I have replaced the 2 main filter caps the 2 fuses for the power amplifier blows. The original capacitors are ELNA LAO 10,000uF 71V and the replacements are Nichicon LKS 10,000uF 80V.
I assume a short circuit connection has occurred so I set my multimeter to measure ohms across the 2 fuse connections and both read 55 Kilo-ohms so I assume that is ok.
I am certain that I do not have any bridges on my soldering and after probing around I do find a temporary 0 ohm reading when probing across the positive and negative...-

by Sik_6ty_SixxSo like the title says, I have an old Stereo Receiver/Amplifier that I picked up from the goodwill, it's a HH Scott Model A510. When I first got it home it had zero output. Opened it up, notice the fuses are missing. Pop in 2 new fuses (AGC4A 250V) and try again, within 5 seconds the L channel fuse POP! I don't see any visible indications of damage or arc burns on the PCB, no popped resistors or diodes, no burnt traces or blown out caps. So I decide to just try another new fuse, POP. Swapped around my R and L speaker wires, and checked the integrity of all wires and connections. Everything looks...5 Photos

by MrzPdlchHey everyone,
I just went ahead and unscrewed a faulty GTX 980 TI from Gigabyte. What I found beneath the cooler was, as it seems, a common issue of that card. Two blown fuses on the bottom right corner of the card next to a MOSFET.
Now my question would be if there is any schematics of that card available to figure out which are the blown components so I can try and replace them together with the mosfet if needed.
Find some pictures of the actual GPU together with a picture of how it should look like.
I also wonder whther it might be a problem that there...3 Photos - Loading...
