Across the PADS on the board, what do you measure (2000 ohms) across + and -. Note: Bridge out of circuit. You are testing board only.
Hold reading for 10 seconds before recording it to allow it to stabilise. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Show us where you are probing please, do it from the bottom of the board ideally, are you saying you see zero, or the same reading your meter shows when probes are not touching? Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

That resistor would probably not cause your issue, especially if the fuse isn't blowing with bridge removed. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung LE26A457C1D Power problem, It Banged
Im doing it from the bottom of the board where the bridge was from the possitive and negative points
I just did it again , the meter just says 1 when im not using it i did it again and it went to 000 after about 10 secondsComment

So it is holding at 000? You have a short after the bridge rectifier then. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

best guess on the resistor is violet green yellow gold black
750kohms based on 4 ringsPlease upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: Samsung LE26A457C1D Power problem, It Banged
I checked all the diodes on the top of the board, what things can short out?
I begining to think this is a dustbin piece, although the £69 price tag on ebay is annoying meComment

Sounds about right - only purpose of that is to discharge the CX### capacitor next to it - it's a safety thing to avoid a shock from that. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

did you check the two transistors on the top and middle heat sinks?Last edited by vinceroger69; 01-15-2014, 03:43 PM.Comment

Ideally, yes. Then check on 2000 ohms between each pair of legs both forwards and backwards. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by theone111I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.
In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.- Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again. - Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.

by DuranitronWhen I reflash again the bios of hoaca388 the unit powers on and the unit lives!!! Hooray!! All voltage in the coil 3.3v, 5v and 6.7v indicate charging are all present. including the cpu voltage , EEPROM and GPU voltage the unit is now alive, normal screen booting to windows and log in screen until I power it off. Then the unit never goes on even when pressing the power button in the keyboard.. Voltage reading 19v main , 3.3v VCC in IT8225E-128 and EEPROM VCC 0 volt and the charging voltage 0 volt.
Try to trace the power switch button goin to the power switch IC PU8803 (APL3533AQBI-TRG)... -
by beetle1303I gotten a Carver CM-1090 amplifier from a friend who has kept it in storage for decades. Opened it up, thick layer of dust cumulated everywhere. Vacuumed it semi-cleaned, and blown off as much as possible the remaining dust. This is a 220V version.
On initial powered up with nothing connected - it works with all the lights and button indicator lit up as pressed, etc. I then powered off, connected a CD player into the CD RCA input and powered it on. It seemed to work for a short while and when I turned the volume up and down to see the the VUs works, the power started to clicked off...3 Photos-

by EazyBoneHello, trying to fix C9 55 inch. I have pulled the back and all looks completely normal with nothing burnt so far. This is first time attempting to fix a tv so any help is appreciated.
Problem. I hit power button, red light on TV turns off and tries to turn on, no picture shows up and then shuts off. This occurred after house power turned on and off, not from a storm.
I have tested the power going from power supply to main board, all 12v and 20 volt readings are proper when I hit power button.
The power supply to t con is different story.

by bcstedtJust starting to crack into this one and wanted to get the ball rolling.
At power on (plug in), power light on, relays click, repeat (sometimes)
After disconnecting Y-Main from SMPS power stays on and boot up jingle is heard from speakers
Removed Y-Main for inspection and testing
