How to find the serial communication location of Sony TV KD-55X8000C motherboard to read printing information

Hello everyone, I met a Sony motherboard KD
-55X8000C model, the serial port location cannot be found. I want to read the printing information through the serial port. I don't know if this idea is feasible. I hope friends who know more can answer it to clear up my doubts. Thank you in advance!

Near the optical out there are 4 pads in a row, gnd, rx, tx, 5v (swap rx,tx eventually)

Hello, I wired the wiring according to this diagram, but the mainboard and the programmer cannot communicate. I don’t know which link is the problem.

yes, of course, big error, you must always connect gnd wire.. , again try first, if no go swap tx,rx..first speed to try is 115200bps then decrease if necessary

Wrong wiring and location .. UART RX / TX always connected to R.

Apple M1 Pro and Max Serial Number location on MLB?
              by N33k0
I think by now, everyone who is in Apple repair has read the other long post about this topic. Unfortunately, that thread was closed back in December of last year and went unresolved. Are there any updates or new info as to where the serial number appears to be located on these boards? The last major update for that thread was the the serial appears to be stored on a section of the NAND but no tools existed yet to read and write from that portion of the drive.

It would be nice to get this discussion going again.

              Sony KDL-46HX850 Can't upgrade/update firmware
              by dkneyle
Diagnosed this TV as having a failed main board which I've replaced with one from a KDL 55HX850. They are (supposedly) the same board.

Being 'Smart TV' it requires a firmware reboot when you swap out boards such as T-Con or main board. It starts with a black screen and flashing yellow and green LEDS, indicating it needs that firmware boot. The procedure described all over the web is to put the software into the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB drive and it should load that up once plugged into USB1 port. But not for me. I can see the LED on the USB chip flash for about...

              A1418 820-00431-A BIOS - serial # location?
              by mon2
              Hi.

              1) Is a bios dump available for the A1418 820-00431-A logic board without password?

              2) For this dump, where is the serial # of the logic board stored? Can this serial # be changed?

Have not worked with a flash dump yet but wish to source a WSON adapter so we can change the serial # to match the laser engraved iMAC base.

Our WSON to PDIP adapter is in transit using the slow shipping method from offshore. Will see if Digikey or Mouser offers this adapter.

              Appreciate any advice. Thanks.
