    AS15 Gamma IC

Ok just replaced a faulty AS15 on an AUO T-con.

Visually it looks perfect... Switched set on an no longer have the inverted colours... But now I have a new issue.. I cannot provide pics as my phone charge port has snapped and being Christmas I have to wait for a new one to come...

So.. Colours are fine.. Problems are that the image is ever so slightly grainy, certainly not as sharp as it should be!... Next issue is that I have my PC plugged into the TV and off the top of any window there are faint lines running across the screen from them... they move with the window when moved.

    Any ideas?

Are you sure the VGA cable you're using is good? Sounds like a low quality cable.

I would check voltages at the test points on the Tcon. Especially VGH, VGHC, VGL.

Samsung QE65Q60TAUXZT New Mainboard but wrong colours
            by alltvrepairs
            Hi,
I have ordered a new main from Samsung. Tv works fine but colours are wrong. I have updated the Panel type as per panel sticker but made no difference. I have another spare good main board and copied the SPI data to the new board but still same problem.

I have attached pics to what difference I have found a difference n the Tcon value as per (2). However haven't found from where I can modify this value. Note I have entered SM with normal remote. Currently I do not have Factory remote.
Do we have a Service Manual for this please?

            Any assistance welcome!...

            MAX9590ETU+ MAX9590 Datasheet
            by Document Archive
The MAX9590 provides 14 programmable voltage references and four static voltage references for gamma correction in TFT-LCD displays. Two register banks are provided to store two sets of gamma reference values. Gamma values are programmed into the banks through the I2C interface and the outputs can switch between values in 0.5ยตs.

The 14 programmable reference voltages are divided evenly into seven upper and seven lower voltages for the upper and lower gamma curves of LCD column drivers.

Each gamma reference voltage has an 8-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and isolation...

            Samsung QLED QN75Q8FNBFXZA inverted/negative color
            by j879
            hi guys,

My 5 years old SAMSUNG QLED got color inverted somehow. I have tried reset, replace mainboard as well as the driver board without luck. The issue must be on the circuit on panel skinny board or so. For this model I could not find the dedicate T-con board so AS15 replacement is not applicable..

            I have upload the pictures

Maybe I should measure the gamma voltage but I couldn't find the right place.

            Any idea would be appreciated....
