    BN44-00343B vs BN44-00341B

I have a Bn44-00343B Power Supply but can not find a schematic. I found a schematic for a Bn44-00341B. Both have the numerous JP852 to elemenate Striving Backlight problems. Are they the same? Or have the same protection circuits that fail? When Online shops repair them do they cut Jumper JP852 or actually repair the P.S. by replacing bad parts. Does anyone know what parts are replaced? If I figure it out I will post it. In the morning I will attempt to trace circuits and compare to the 341b schematic. I was hoping someone could lead me to the exact cause vs hrs of testing to learn this particular board.
    Thanks

    Re: BN44-00343B vs BN44-00341B

After close examination the two power supplies are not the same even though they have the same jumper JP852 that removes the ground from PC1801 Ic a optocoupler that sends signal to PFC ciruits.

Inexplicable voltage readings in LED circuits
      by dicky96
Hi Guys, here is something I see often when working on LEDs in series wit ha 12V or 24V supply. I may see it other times as well but thinking about it, I only recall this in LED circuits.

What basically happens is my meter reads reverse polarity voltages that seemingly can't exist.

Have a look at this video - this is from a new Youtube channel I started a couple weeks ago.

If you like, watch the whole video through, even let me know what you think of it , but if you don't have time just play it from 14min 30sec and you will see exactly what...

      DVM circuits
      by barry wilkins
Unforunately I damaged one of my DVM,s when working on some power supplies
measuring some high voltages ,because there was some rf on the dc I was measuring.
It still works but is noisey and it will not measure diodes, I would like to fix it if possible.
Does any one have any circuits for DVM,s

      thanks

PC Specialist / Clevo PC50DS - No Power
      by agoncarenko
Good time of day to all,

I have a laptop - PC Specialist PC50DS - that I am attempting to repair.
(Also manufactured and (was) sold under names of Clevo PC50DS and Schenker XMG 15 Pro)

      Laptop is:
      • Not powering on
      • Not taking charge.

Before I proceed, I would like to add some context: I am by no means experienced in laptop board repair. I have one repair under my belt, for which I had access to Boardview schematics (.brd), which helped me greatly by being able to see HOW and WHAT WITH each component interacts and "Follow the circuit"....

Lowest possible resistance on laptop motherboard rail - Guide Table request
      by Nagy Daniel
Hi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.

I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.

I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.

So, I generated a table with AI so I can...

Where find example circuits with explanation?
      by caphair
Looking for a source of various circuits that are broken down to better help understand how components work together in different configurations.

      Any links would be appreciated
