Picked this up from the E-Waste bin a while ago, but hadn't been in the country for a while to work on it.
Soooo, I've done a little research and a few people on the internets reported success with the MC301 / MC201 IC and capacitor swap. I just finished the job following this video but, alas, no cigar. When I plug it in (if it hasn't been plugged in for a few minutes), I hear a relay click once (unless it's been plugged in within the last minute or two, in which case no relays can be heard) but that's it, no LED blinks, no reaction to button presses.
Has anyone had any experience with this issue?
I seem to have 5V in a bunch of places, but I can't find any pins that react to any buttons.
The power board is a ETX2MM704MGN panasonic unit.
I also, despite having a service manual, can't seem to find proper voltage schematics. This guy's online problem solving chat seemed to indicate voltages are different from the panasonic despite being the "same" board.
Thanks in advance,
Alex
