Westinghouse CW46T6DW Image Distortion

Hello,

I'm trying to help out a family member with their - Westinghouse CW46T6DW - 46" LCD TV which is experiencing some nasty image distortion/flicker.

I unfortunately won't have a chance to physically pull the back off the unit for inspection until around the upcoming Holidays since the T.V. is at my relatives house and whom I will be visiting soon, but I was just hoping to get some good feedback of what could be causing the issue as seen in the provided images.

To me that looks like a bad panel

So its a good possibility its a bad Panel from what can be seen from the picture?

Naturally I do plan on opening up the TV to visually inspect the circuit boards for any obvious issues, but atleast now I got an idea of what the problem could be.

Thats unfortunate. Well, I'll save myself the time and not bother messing around with the TV then.

I also have the same TV but your pictures seem to be different than mine. I was wondering if maybe mine could just be the main board?
