plasma hdtv issue (sanyo avp4232) (samsung board?) no images

    Hello Badcaps!

I have a problem with my tv, and I was hoping one of you could help me.

The tv is a sanyo avp4232, but it seem to have samsung parts in it.

The tv, when plugged, has a red idle led. It turn on and stay on. When I turn the power on, the red led turn off and the blue led turn on (as expected) but there is no picture (not even a backlight)

I found a part that might be the problem. What is this part? I can use a soldering iron to change it if needed, but I don't have the knowledge to know what it is exactly. I think it is a ceramic capacitor?
Could it be what cause my issue?

I have a soldering iron and a multimeter. I know how to solder and use a multimeter.

    Thanks for your help!

The label: (Tv is sanyo, but samsung label?)

    The parts I suspect:

    All fuse are okay.
I am pretty sure the issue is the blue capacitor. But my main question is, what caused it to break? If I change it, will it break right away? Should I replace the entire supply board? Where could I get one?
