    Lcd37tv016hd

    ok Thank you vince.
I got this Bush 37inch LCD, It would work for about 5mins then the picture would go fuzzy "see Pic 2" and about 2 mins later the set would turn off. I've had the air duster out to blow a few cobwebs now im just getting a gray screen. "pic3"
I've checked voltage on the power supply 23.8v, 11.7v, 5.2v and 5vSB are all there.
Can anyone point me where to investigate next.
    Thanks.

Yes, Lucky enough when I first switched on the set to get the gray screen for the first time the hdmi channel was still tuned in and I could here the ps3. I since pressed a channel button now I cant here anything as I don't know what channel is currently tuned in, but it deffo worked when the hdmi channel was on.

Check for 12V or 5V at both ends of tcon fuse.

Sounds like it; check LVDS, check the silly parallel port thingamajig on main board is seated properly too (that got me good for some time on these!)

is the ldvs the plug that gos to the t-con board, if so im only reading a volt or so on some wires, parell plug at rear seams snug.

I got the board out, its number is FCBF076072574 Any ideas where I can obtain another one or if anyone got any idea on how to fix this one. This one is not supplying voltage to the t-con board.
Do surface mount electrolytic caps bulge when bad?

                            Check PSU voltages are steady.

Further update. I have found out that the tv only goes faulty after 5 mins on the HDMI input. The Scart, ariel and vga input work ok. Does that mean the HDMI chip needs replacing? or change the main board.
