    Samsung lj92-01200A Y-SUS Board

    Hello,
I mentioned my issue in a different thread, but decided I'd try and make one dedicated to my issue.
I have a lj92-01200A that came out of a Sayno 42" Plasma TV
I confirmed the lower Y Buffer had a shorted IC
I then found 3 shorted MOSFET's on the Y-SUS board.

I have replaced those mosfet's that were shorted G to D, but the TV power board still clicks on and then right back off a second or two later, and then the one green LED flashes 12 times over and over with the Y-SUS installed (no buffers connected)

I did notice that I can leave the power cable plugged into the Y-SUS and if I do NOT plug in the small ribbon cable below, the TV power will stay on.

I feel I'm so close, but not sure what else to check, any ideas ?

    Thanks,

I have been working on that same board and its a real pain, there are many posts about it here. There are 2 diodes and 2 resistors that need to be checked on this unit also. If you click on my screen name to see my other post, these guys outlined it in detail. In addition to that, you basically need to check every single diode and fet on the board because sometimes you get a random bonus pop along with the usual parts that always blow. Really bad design.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

        Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Upgrading a Samsung ue55nu7096u with logic board from an ue55ru7105k -- good idea?
        by ohren
I hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.

I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.

The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively....

        Hi to all,
the owner of this machine gave it to me after having opened it to take off the dust from the inside, telling me that after that it didn't start anymore.
I found that one of the DrMOS (AOZ5016QI) on the CPUCORE was shorted between VIN and VSWH, and that one of the two n-mos connected to the power jack was shorted aswell.
I unsoldered the two shorted components and verified that there were no other short circuits, then decided to power the mainboard, firstly with the lab power supply, then with its original HP 200w charger, but the behaviour is the same, the board starts...
