sears sr 3000 crt tv

i have here is a 1987 sears sr 3000 tv i have the flyback off its high side is dead low side was working cause bulb was lit up i do have sound replaced fuses so at least i know whats wrong i am gonna post pics of the fly back and hopefully someone can help me with this so i can get this tv back up and running.

when testing a flyback really the only way to tell if the fly back is good or not is withta ringer. Did you check to see if your horizontal output transistor shorted?

well theres no power to it none and the other wire running to the bulb is working lights up just no picture and i got a voltage from the other wire to the bulb so yeah the only thing i remember is hearing a pop when the tv went out the sound and everything else turns on channel box doesnt kick on tho and i think its part of the issue as well i was told the flyback was dead an thats as far as i know i'm waiting on the info from sams publishing on the board so i can trace test the resistors to make sure nothing else is wrong i have tested and checked the 2 boards one the channel changer from front 2 board to the left which is low voltage board that controls the controls the high voltge part of the board i have out and i have tested all resistors and capacitors and all look ok and good to me i'm just hoping its the flyback at this point

and where would i find the horizontal output transistor cause that does sound familiar .

Check all transistors on the heat syncs

yup checked those all good and all small one are good like i said its the flyback

So you just changes the flyback and tv back to alive?

Yea im curious Did you find a new flyback?
