    sourcing parts for logik lcd

Hello all I got a logik 19" e19/13b-gb- tc -uk that had 2 seconds to black and I have traced the problem to one of the inverters on the inverter board, I have been trying to find a replacement using the number on the inverter but with no luck!! can anyone shed any light? thanks

There's an inverter on eBay for £20.

Beware, quite a few small LCD panels made by Samsung and ChiMei have issues with the bulbs going bad in panel. This would give same effect as a bad inverter.

Thanks, I seen that inverter was looking to replace the actual inverter/transformer component to try and keep costs down but I cant find one! I checked both resistances on the inverters and one was ok and one wasn't so thought it must be faulty!!

To be honest the transformer replacement is likely to be around £10 to £15 so you're not saving much. Keep the old board for spares.

You can buy universal inverters for about 10-15$ including shipping:

I have two or three of these in my box of spare parts and they work fine.

Ah well I guess there's not much point in replacing the component if I can get the board for that price, thanks for the info folks
