Not sure about pin 6, per chart that pin is N.C. (NO CONNECTION).
Otherwise they are normal, you do have PS-ON on pin 16, and BL-ON on pin 8.

I'm suspecting it is the t-con. I'm going to order a t-con for it and that will be my last part that I purchased.

Any news on status of your t-con? Did is resolved the issue?

I had the same trouble. TV open, but no screen. A small white blink in background difficult to see. No capacitors is blowen. Im looking to find what is the problem on that tv.

Any help appreciated.

I still second the motion that you should take all the working boards out of the TV and put it into your crack screen TV and see if you can get anything on the screen like Tom said

Hi Guys,

I just had this same problem with a Samsung UN46D6050TFXZA

Original symptoms - Sound OK, Backlight OK, No Picture, No Menu.
Also, some weird small current pulsing on the Ammeter.

I didn't scope the signal to the T-Con, because it seemed obvious, and I had a spare BN95-00497B pull on hand.

T-Con swapped - logo comes up beautiful, then picture comes up beautiful.
A few seconds later, the pic froze. Cycled TV on and off and got a blank pic with the small amount of current pulse just like the original symptoms.

My gut feeling was that the LCD just ate my T-Con.

Because I happened to have another spare T-Con, I tried that, and got the same exact symptoms. No measureable overheating, or blown fuses on the T-Cons.

We don't see many cascade failures with LCD/LED TVs, but I guess this is one.

Hello everyone,

I got another TV today UN55D6000SF with lines on the screen. I bought it mainly because I have a 46" Samsung TV that has no picture, but you can hear sound and the backlight works (the parts are crossboard - mainboard and t-con only, not PSU).

The mainboard and t-con for the 46" and 55" are crossboards, but the power supply is different, that was the reason that I could not test the parts from the 46" TV on the 55" TV cracked screen.

Now that I purchased another 55", I have a power supply that I can test the mainboard and t-con that were in the 46" that has no picture. I will let you know what is the outcome.
