Start by checking BL ON/OFF from main board.

        Re: 47le5300

Try this, Make sure there is an input in the TV... bet you the backlights do not turn off.

If you have nothing plugged in the set will turn the backlights off after a few seconds

Had same issues, if you shine a light into the screen once you turn it on and the backlights go off you should be able to see the no input signal icon... press menu on remote.. goto settings and factory reset. i have a feeling it will not turn the backlights off then either.

So just to confirm you cannot see any image at all with a flashlight?

So no back lights and no image.

The LED driver board is built into the PSU on these models.

Which button have you pressed in post #3?

@ Tom, There are no references on the boards to indicate what pin is for what... This board is slightly different to the one I was working on the other day but same will apply.

                          Hello,

YouTube video of the problem encountered: https://youtube.com/shorts/q7TLNv36LUo

I am a pro and I have a problem that I have never seen despite my 7.5 years of experience on my own and my thousands of repairs, on a customer's Dell G3 15 3500.

On this PC I have already changed the complete palmrest because the keyboard was no longer working properly.

I also changed the screen because the PC fell and the screen was broken.

I changed the battery with a new and original battery.

I also had corrosion/oxidation on the...

Hisense 40H4F no backlight but turns off after splash screen
                          by frannyjunk
So I have this Hisense tv where the backlight does not come on. But when it is turned on, when I shine a flashlight on the screen, I can clearly see the splash screen then it turns off. I looked at the mainboard and was expecting to see bulged capacitors, but they all look fine. I unplugged the backlight from the mainboard, and get the same symptoms (i.e. no backlight, dark splash screen then just a black screen). Is this just a backlight issues? Do Hisense tvs turn off by itself if the backlights are unplugged or are bad? Or is this a mainboard issue?

                          TIA.

                          Hi All,

We've got a HP Envy 12th gen that has been dropped and the LCD panel itself has cracked. The glass is fine just the panel itself is cracked. We ordered a replacement screen assembly using the part number off the HP part surfer website.
Upon installation the touch screen now does not work either in UEFI or win 11. Device manager under the "intel Precise touch and Stylus) menu notes "This device cannot start (code 10) Status_Device_Power_Failure".

I've tried all the usual troubleshooting steps like reinstalling the driver, uninstalling...

                          by turmix
Hello, I'm working on a new deskmod pc project and have a problem with my monitor, an AOC U34G3XM, well, I may have bricked it.

The monitor was dismanteled and the separate parts parts integrated in the desk. the screen panel alone is on the upper part, and main board/video board + power board on the back of the desk (not enough place on the cover to fit it)
At first everything was working smoothly, then I decided to change the connexion between the video board and the screen for a longer one. Still working fine

During another reassembly, I made a mistake, and...

                          by FallenOne008
Hi everyone, hope all is well. I have run into a problem where my backlight screen is no longer working.

The original screen was beginning to show signs of faultiness. I believe it was part of the inverter board that was going bad. The backlight for the screen was still functional at this point. Well one night as I was tinkering with the laptop, my idiot self forgot to disconnect the battery from the motherboard. I attempted to reconnect the EDP cable onto the motherboard, and as you might guess, I saw a nice spark from the cable and the port. Don't worry, I'm still kicking myself...
