    pioneer pro-506 XMain issue

    Hey all.
    Well I picked up this pioneer plasma the owner said the screen was black. This has standalone media receiver. So I connected it all together when I got home and long and behold sure enough black screen I can see the screen trying to light on the corners barely and I can hear that sustains working but no picture so I don't know still a little bit and checked voltages are all there. I left the TV on with a video signal being fed to it well I was on the internet searching for schematic. All the sudden I saw something on my corner of the corner of my eye the screen started to come back but it was the corners first into the centeruntil the whole screen came back after about 10 minutes later. So I'm thinking X Main. anyone seen a pioneer do this before?

      Hello everyone,

      I am experiencing a BIOS-related issue with my Dynabook Satellite Pro C50D-B-100. When I power on the laptop, the screen stays black, and there is no response from the system. I suspect a corrupted BIOS.

      Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen

      Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

      My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

      This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

      HELP - Contrast/brightness issue with subtitles on screen

      Hi everybody
      Since day one I'm having an unpleasant contrast/brightness issue on my Asus laptop.
      Basically while watching movies, if subtitles appear on screen, the contrast or the brightness of the entire screen increases a lot (not sure if it'is brightness or contrast), disturbing the viewing of the movie.

      Last year I replaced my screen because got damaged and this contrast/brigthness issue persists. It happens only on the laptop screen, in fact If i plug an external HDMI screen the issue does not occour on it.

      It occours both on ubuntu and windows...

      Samsung UE48JU7000 screen issue after backlight replacement

      Hi all,

      Because of two bright spots and a couple of dark spots I decided to replace the backlights in my Samsung UE48JU7000. See attached photos:


      I thought all went well, but after full assembly and testing it out it turns out not all is fine. The backlights are completely fine but I have some weird issues on the right half of the screen. Since I didn't really touch the T-CON board (apart from taking out the ribbons of the display and reconnecting them on assembly) it would be weird that the issue is with the T-CON board... But based on the behavior of the service...

      iphone XS turns off when press on screen.

      Hi,

      I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
