Panasonic Viera TX-L37ET5B LED

Hi I have a Panasonic Viera TX-L37ET5B LED which suffered water ingress to base of screen.
There is no visible damage to anything and i have backlight and sound
My question is would this be panel failure?

No picture?
Are the tab connections at the top or bottom of the screen?
Most likely it would be unrepairable.

I recently received a 37" LG with half the picture out, bad panel due to water ingress.
So many of these dying due to water damage .

You can try unhooking one half of panel at a time, if you get half a picture, most likely one of the tabs is shorted, which is not repairable.

i still have no picture when unhooking the tcon on either side just get half white screen.

OK, have you checked the fuse on the t-con?

Little white device with gold/silver coloured caps, near the connections on the left.

Ok thanks i will look at this in the morning due to being at work tonight.
Whats the best way to check this fuse?
Like i said earlier i get half white screen when disconnecting tcon from panel.
And i have also unhooked from driver board and its just the same no picture just backlight.
I will try and get some better pics tomorrow.

Continuity setting, Diode setting, Ohm setting

Any will work to check it

Also check volts each end red probe on one end black to chassis, repeat for other end. Should be about 12V each side.
