LN-S3251D - Replaced 3 Capacitors, Blank Screen, Backlight ON - Has Sound

As described in the title, I have a 32" Samsung LN-S3251D I picked up for a few $ the other day. Found one bad capacitor on the power board but replaced 3 due to seeing problems with them online. Anyways, TV comes on, and no picture but the backlight is working great. I do HAVE SOUND, what do you guys think? I will have to post a few pictures of the ribbon cables connecting the TCON to the lcd driver boards? (connect to LCD Screen by tab bonds) They have a weird greyish / metal stain on them a little, no burning though. Thinking about buying another T CON board, any input?

What DC voltage do you get at both ends of the fuses with ref. to chassis ground.

Will get this when I get home, will also get pictures so I know exactly where to test, I am semi - handy with the Multimeter

Test the voltage going to each board off of the power board. No picture sounds to me like a bad main board. TCon failures that I have seen (and in no way am I saying this is the case for yours) would still have a picture, just messed up.

Plug TV in and ground black wire to the frame. I usually stick it in a empty screw hole somewhere far from where I am working (wall mount hole works good) and place the red probe to each wire in the harness on the board with TV on. The expected voltage should be printed right next to the peg for the wire.

Actually t-con is the cause in more than 90% of cases of lit screen no image with sound.

Literally just got home guys, Thank you all for responding, very supportive. I have to study for a big exam so I will have to take voltages tomorrow. Tom66 I think, and hope, you are right because I ordered one yesterday

Confirming that T-Con did fix this TV after capacitors were replaced as well. Thanks Guys

Have a LN-S3251D and after 15 minutes the screen go black with sound. When turn it off then back on the picture is back for about 15 minutes. Any suggestions???

Can you verify that the backlights are not on? If the backlights are on, then you need to monitor the DC Voltage feeding the fuse on the T-CON to see if it goes away when the problem occurs.

Thanks for the quick response. I reseated the connector on the t-con board. And it has playing with no problems!!!!! I going now place the back panel on to see if is holding in the heat. Which may be causing the boards to over heat. Again thanks for the quick response ������
