LCD TV Power Supply 12V Testing

¿How can I load to test the 12V on an LCD TV PSU?
The voltage is ok with a minimal load (a car break bulb) of 1.75A
But I want to know how much current can I get to know the PSU is really ok.

I found that schematics of KDL-40EX500, KDL-40EX400 or KDL-32EX302 are similar to my KDL-40EX407

Where did you see the 3.5A marking?
My TV is 40" and I can't see what is the maximum current.
I didn't find the datasheet of the regulators.

Post the good pictures of the power supply. Most power supply board will have label for the output voltage and current rating.

it suppose to be indicated on the psu or back of it but some manufacturers dont indicate it,
what is the actual problem you are dealing with?

Re: LCD TV Power Supply 12V Testing

The board don't have that markings.
What I've been wanting to do is to prove that the 12V out of the PSU is fully working. That cause I have the proper voltages but the TV doesn't work.

If somebody can see, here is my complete history:

i think what you are facing is the main board fault cause the BLON and TCON voltages are generated from the main board, try to send a close image of the main board too
