    LE40C53F1W Liquid damage

    Hi all, I have a samsung LE40C53F1W which i've been told had beer spilled on it during a party....lol
    Can anyone tell by lookin at this video if its repairable or not.. I'm guessing its a t-con..

    Most likely the LCD panel is bad because of liquid damage, not repairable. I would doubt t-con board could cause this.

        If you scrap it, be careful the t-con may be no good due to shorted panel. I would only sell the t-con as "untested".

          Thanks mate, I dont sell parts on ebay, cant find the time to list them, Instead i just lable them and stick it on the shelf for future repairs, but this set is a repair for a friend, ill just tell him it cant be fixed..
