That means the new main board does not send the voltage to the T-CON board for it to work. I do not know if you receive bad board or the board is not compatible to your chassis.

UPDATE: The TV is now fully functioning!! I was able to track down a complete numbers matching board and we are up and running! Had to pay a bit more than originally anticipated, but in the end I was able to get the TV working for under $100 which is a win in my book. Thanks so much everyone for the help, budm especially! Badcaps will be the first place I go for any other electronics troubleshooting issues I have in the future!

There are actually 2 different Power Supplies for this Model one is 0500-0405-0900 and the other is Vizio 0500-0407-0770 and, the other is Vizio PSM192-240

The 2 1st have Built in Inverters

The very 1st goes directly to the bulbs and, the second goes to the bulbs via wires

This may be the reason there is some confusuon

He replaced the main board (not sending PS-ON to the power supply board), not the power supply board.
