My Sons friend came over with a tv his dad gave him.The dad took it to a near by shop , and they said thats a 2006 model it's going to be hard to find parts for that one,and they offered him $20.00 off for a new set , and they would junk his for him. His son said lets see I Mike (me) can fix it. So they did. Here is what i found . Four samjunk caps swelled up . I changed the caps and the set runs like new . Total time 47 minutes. Here are some pics of the inside of the tv.
