    NORCENT LCD TV LT-3751 Bad tuner?

    LCD-TV gets digital channels but all of a sudden does not accept standard basic cable channels. I tried auto channels search after unplugging the it for an hour and it is still the same.

    I have Time Warner cable and I plug the cable right into the TV. It previously got all the standard channels and some digital channel (4-1, 6-1, etc) now it only gets certain digital channels.

    Thinking that I all of a sudden lost cable in that room, I tried another TV in the same room and that one worked.

    Did my tuner board go out all of the sudden and if so, why can I get digital channels? HDMI works, RCA's work.

    If it is the tuner board, anyone have any ideas where I can purchase one?

      hi to all
      I have the above TV and it presents the following problem
      when i tune in and search for terrestrial digital channels he finds them normally
      but I hear only sound I do not see image and I have to see with mpeg4 decoder external device
      what could be wrong?

      I can hear Fred Sanford now...."YOU BIG DUMMY".....I pulled the "F" connector out of the tuner by accident. The tuner number is BN40-00248B. Low and behold I had a scrap board with tuner number BN40-00248A. Although the tuner is different (according to Encompass.com) it's footprint on the board is exactly the same as the 248B so I decided to de-solder the tuner off the scrap board to see what I was getting in to.

      As you can see in the picture the terminals and solder pads are super small. No matter what I tried I could not get either the terminals or support...

      Hello, i had this amp sitting in the closet knowing that none of the channels were working. After taking it all apart i found 4 bulging main filter caps so i went ahead and replaced those with low ESR kmet caps. However after doing this it only restored sound to Surround L, Surround R, and Center channel. The main speaker fuse on the transformer F905/F906 keeps blowing so i decided to remove all of the transistor's on those 4 channels and measure them. All transistors appear to be in good working order(turned receiver on with none of them installed and fuse still blows). Checked dual emitter resistors...
