Panasonic Viera TC-P50GT25 SC Board Replacement

I have the 6 blinks failure on this TV so I followed the Panasonic tech guide's troubleshooting flow chart and disconnected the SC20 connector and the C10 connector and got 8 blinks which tells me that I need to replace the SC board.

The board on my tv is a TNPA-5081 and the sticker on it says 5081ap-u025001170. Can I use the SC board from a TC-P50G25 TV? I think the only difference is that mine (TC-P50GT25) is 3D capable and the TC-P50G25 is 2D only.

I found this following list in another thread on here and my understanding is that AP and AF boards are the same and therefore should be interchangeable. Is this correct?

Re: Panasonic Viera TC-P50GT25 SC Board Replacement

Probably not, unfortunately. The 3D panel is capable of being brighter on 3D mode, and can be driven at a higher frequency. The 2D sustain may struggle with the required output power. It might work, but no guarantees.

Panasonic Viera TX-P46G10E 11 blink even after fan replacement
      by Jacksoft
      Hi all,
I have here a Plasma TV TX-P46G10E that before had a problem where it had issues with 11 blinks (FAN SOS) BEFORE starting normally. After that it works for all day long.
It had some bad cold solder and I remade them all. After I replaced a fan that was half-dead (no RMP signal from the respective pin, but ok with 9V).
Now the TV power up instantly and works perfect... only without the backplate!
If the backplate is placed on the TV shutsdown after about 10min and start blinking with the 11 blinks. If I shutdown and re-powerup it starts blinking after a bunch of...

Panasonic SA-XR25,Looking for a good replacement cap
      by Jagster
I have a Panasonic SA-XR25 surround receiver that is not working and I believe it may have a faulty capacitor. This large capacitor near the mains power input has a plastic top that is bulged out. Anyhow, I'm trying to find a like replacement but Panasonic doesn't seem to make this capacitor any longer and I want to find a suitable replacement. It has an "AUDIO" designation written which I presume means something important in relation to the capacitors design characteristics. Can someone advise on what would be a good replacement? Image attached.

      Panasonic Viera LC470EUN (SE)(M2) T-Con issue?
      by Ama Chur
After watching some youtube videos and checking some forums, I'm at a loss. With both ribbon cables connected, we have no image. With the left one pulled out, the screen is black and white, split down the middle. With the right cable removed, it is all black. Backlight is working fine and we have sound and can open applications. We are strapped for money right now and are hoping to repair whatever the issue may be. I think the TV was manufactured in 2012, so I'm aware that may not be possible. Edit: Found a single vertical line of blue pixels on the left side of the screen with one of the ribbon...

Dead Panasonic Viera TX-P65STW50 Plasma TV
      by badcappo
Hello, got a ST50 plasma TV for repair. No signs of life, not even blink codes. Opened it up to check the power supply, type MPF6914. Apparent issues from visual detection and measuring for shorts:
      Diode type G972s6 - D101 with a short
      Mosfet 06N90E - Q301 shorted
      Fuse T5AH 250V - F103 blown
      Diode D301 shorted
      Relay DG1U-17VDC II - RL001 blown

I have not found a circuit diagram. Maybe someone here already dealt with a similar issue? Thanks for tips where else to check 😀...

Panasonic Viera TX-L50E6E - no image
      by J8rda7
      Hi,
the TV has a black screen. Sound OK, backlight OK.

When I measure T-CON voltages, there is VGL+VGH=0V. After unplug the right side of the screen from the T-con, voltages are OK and half screen works normally.

I tried to search for any kind of short on the right side, but I had no luck. I have a beginner experience in measuring and repairs of the LCD panels..

Thanks to anyone who can guide me in solving the problem.. and be patient with my english 🙂😁
