Ok. Yea I was looking at the tcon troubleshooting guide and it looks close like its a tcon issue but I wanted to get another opinion before I risk paying a lot for this.Comment

Re: Samsung un46c6300 vertical lines cover screen
Given the fault I would not chance more than ÂŁ35 on this (approx $50.) I could make back at least 3/4 of that selling the parts like main board and power board which are OK.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung un46c6300 vertical lines cover screen
That's what I was trying to buy it for but they won't budge off 225. That's why I wanted to make sure it was at on cause then I could flip it for 200-250 profit.Comment

Hey since your here can you answer a question for me. How do you test the small I'm guessing voltage regulators that look like a box with 4 legs on each side of it.Comment

Re: Samsung un46c6300 vertical lines cover screen
I don't know what you mean. There's a thread in the FAQ section on voltage regulator testing. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung un46c6300 vertical lines cover screen
Here is a data sheet on it. Apparently someone else had to replace on on the same tv I have and I don't know how to test to see if mine are good. http://html.alldatasheet.com/html-pd...2/1/G2996.htmlComment

by FalkiHello there, ive recently found an older 55inch Samsung SmartTV.
Sadly it has vertical lines at the left and one line in the middle-right.
I have already tested out the connections and have looked at the soldered ribbons of the LCD panel to see if some contacts got loose by pushing them a bit but with no success.
I have factory resetted the TV as well but also with no luck.
I am afraid that it is indeed a LCD Panel issue but there are NO scratches or any impact-marks..
A similar issue has been posted as well but also with no actual response ...6 Photos -
by Stanley1843Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

by x_orange90_xI posted about this previously but didn't get any response, and I have some troubleshooted a bit so I have more info.
The screen is full of horizontal "gaps" or lines that distort the picture badly, and after about 10 seconds of powering it on the screen starts to fill with red vertical bars that take on the horizontal pattern. After the screen filled with the red bars, they instantly vanished and then slowly started to reappear. I initially thought it was tab bonding failure, but after getting down to them and pressing each one I find zero change in the picture. I went... -
by polaroGreetings,
I've bought a used Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC LED TV. It worked fine for some time and then developed, at first, a single very thin (1 pixel) vertical stable blue line, from top to bottom, close to the left edge of the screen. Now it's 3 lines on the left. When I connect HDMI sources the number of the thin lines grow. After disconnecting and cold discharging I am back to 2 lines. The lines disappear at a rate of 15-20 minutes per line. So it does not look like a damaged LED panel. Any advice? Thanks... -
