    Hey Fwrothy!

Thanks so much for the reply. Didn't sound preachy at all. Since I was a new member I couldn't start a new thread, but had totally thought about it. Definitely understand the Christmas light analogy.

It was still the one fast one slow error code.

I think all you had to do was introduce yourself to forum in order to post new thread.
I'm sure someone will have better answers and trouble shoot procedures soon. Best of luck with your repair

I have the same set BUT, the buttons are sensor touch LC-60LE810UN So, there is no real way to know if the button is pressed or not or, is it still the same?

id like to know if it works cause I have a 60le810un sitting at home gutted. All I have is a panel and casing. I am thinking of ordering all the boards for it.
I have all the boards for this set took completely apart and lost all the screws So, I am selling the entire lot of boards for $200. Had the 1-1 blink code found the burnt Led strip replaced it now I cannot for the life of me find the panel screws, Cover screws, etc.

              Re: Sharp Aquos LC-60LE810UN troubleshooting

Hi, my Sharp LC-60LE810UN TV bit the dust Friday night. Lost pic & sound with inverted V flashing 1 fast & 1 long. I came across your web site, followed some advice and by holding down -vol., +channel, & pwr buttons simultaneously now have sound, very dark picture, and steady lite inverted V. I can turn the TV on & off with the remote, however, the picture cannot be seen. It's there, however, there is not enough illumination to make it visible. Reading different comments regarding this particular TV makes me think that a LED may have gone bad affecting a whole strip. Does that sound plausible? My electronics background is limited to having worked in the telco field in construction. I enjoy the forums and have become a member. TIA, Carl.

Yes Carl. You most likely have a burned out led in one of the strips. Check the first led in the upper right hand corner for some reason this one likes to go bad first. Use a dmm in diode check mode to get each led to lo ight up.
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

                  Re: Sharp Aquos LC-60LE810UN troubleshooting

                  I have an LC-60LE810UN.

Original problem 2 slow 5 fast. I send the main board to a repair service. I get the board back and instal it into the tv. I get 1 slow 1 fast. I have the tv on and blinking while I do the Volume down channel up and power button force turn on code. Tv stops blinking and with a flash light I can tell the panel is on and the menu audio video works fine, but the backlight is not there. I open up the panel and find the upper right LED strip has 1 bad LED and its the opposite of everyone else, somehow the very last LED got affected. I tested the other LEDs one by one with a 1.5 volt battery and wires taped to each side. That was a fun 5 hours of my life. Anyway all others tested ok. I bought a new LED strip since I was not comfortable replacing the LED itself. I still got the 1 slow one fast. I did the force turn on and this time I am getting the LED strips to turn on for 3 to 4 seconds then shut off before the panel actually displays picture. I have tried all the codes to bring the service mode back up, but I can't manage to do so. I have tried holding down volume down input and power button while plugging in, I have tried holding the power button down for 5 seconds right after power up as someone else suggested earlier it would disrupt the flashing and then you could follow up with a different code, but I never got it to disrupt the flash in the first place. I have tried plugging it in while holding volume up and channel down alone, also nothing.
The only thing I could do was volume down channel up and power button but that only turns the tv on. It doesn't bring me to the service menu and the LED's still don't stay on for more than 3 or 4 seconds.
As I kept reading, it looks like my power supply might be bad as well. How can I test the power board? I really don't want to throw in $250 for the Power supply unless its an absolute certainty mine is bad. I have already spent enough money on this set.
I have tested all diodes transistors, resistors, and fuses. All seemed ok.
Is it the actual inverter that is bad? How can I check an inverter? Can I buy the inverter alone? Would that fix the problem?

Can anyone point me in the correct direction with this one?
                  Thank you

I have a sharp LC-60LE810UN and i am getting the one short one long. Took the tv apart and tested the 316 bulbs and found the bad one on the one of the strips that has 30. I have been unsuccessful of finding an affordable replacement strip. Does anyone know where to get one or how to cheaply fix the existing strip(not sure if i can replace the bulb with a resistor or another bulb).

How is it possible to use the Vol - and Input or Vol - Ch Dn functions when using touch sensor buttons since there are NO buttons to depress ???

I am dealing with the LC-60LE64OU. I have replaced main board as well as the tcon board. Still have the same one short one long blink. I ve tried all of the codes multiple times. Im about to take a baseball bat to it. Please send me some helpful info on what I'm missing or send your favorite brand of bat.

                          Thanks in advance
