Samsung LN52a550p3f green vertical bars

Hi, I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is a bad lcd panel or some other board (t-con?).
I also have another similar 52" Samsung that has a similar issue. However, on the other one, the bars are multicolored, take up the right third of the screen and are not transparent. Any thoughts? Thanks.

this thing that worries me is a black stripe between the green bar. That usually represent a defective tab bond or defective Ic on the panel.
