n1 and p1 are the lot numbers, but you should check the capacitance to be sure it is 47uf.

as long as its the same capacitance do u think i should try to install it. is it going to make a difference that its smaller i dont know if the square part is the same size or not.

i dont know the complete difference but n1 is 1 nanofarad and p1 is 1 picofarad. it takes 1000 picofarads to make 1 nanofarad.

N1 and P1 is the Factory lot number, not the cap value, see the spec spec sheet I posted.

ah ok. I understand. when i was doing my research before you told me whatit was they were saying that thats where i got it from. So do you think it will be fine if its the same capacitance even thought its not the same size.

So while trying to remove the old one I think I ripped the pad/trace off. Anyone know how to fix this.

The pad on the bottom one is for the Negative leg of the cap which is connected to that large ground trace, you just have to scrape off the green solder mask to expose the bare copper and bridge it with small wire or solder to the leg of the cap.

If you can get the probe to break through the green mask and measure the resistance of that pad and the chassis, it should show less than 1 Ohm, unless you have really cheap meter probes.

i got the cap replaced. It ended up actually not being bad cause i tested it after replacing it and it checked out fine. But i still got the same issue with it flashing vizio sign below the screen and the back light turns on and if i press the menu button on the remote the back light dimms like its responding but i still get no picture not even the box that says the source the tv is on. I was thinking tcon but i cant turn the tv off with the power button on the side just the remote but it will allow me to turn it on. Im wondering if there is anything else i can check on this main board before shelling out 155 bucks.

I do not have any more suggestion, I would wait awhile before getting the new main it may go down more by the end of the year when people buying newer TVs.

You could check all 3 pin voltage regulators on the mainboard. Vizios like to eat them. Especially 2.2v ones. They a r e labeled u1 u2 etc. See if any are shorted or with tv on get readings on the large pin and post results.
