    insignia ns- pdp32-09 no power

    Hello, picked this up a why back. first time working on a plasma, This tv is dead no power . checked voltage on PSU get no readings at all. fuses all check out to be good.unplugged every thing on PSU no voltage.also caps look good. hope you can help.

    Check standby diode. Check any fusible resistors.

      I had checked all the diodes they were good. To make sure which one is standby diode ?

        It will be near the standby transformer, which is the smallest one on the board.

              OK, check voltage across the small (<100uF <50V) capacitors on the primary side of the power supply. Something is going to be missing.

                    I checked the small caps again 3 of them were testing at 0.01 and 0.02. the forth one tested 0.00

                        For future reference, bottom refers to the other side of the PCB. Can you get one of the other side?

                                        0.1 ohms, or single "1" meaning infinite/over-range?
